Lessons Learned.

  1. Save coins for toilets - at least a Euro. Reminded me of a rhyme our mother taught us when we had to pay tuppence at Sydney Central Station when we were kids: Here I sit, broken hearted. Paid my penny but I only farted.
  2. Sidle up to other people who are brave enough to cross the road.
  3. Put your bags up on the train before attempting to climb the steps.
  4. Don't trust Google directions.
  5. We are very experienced at buying train tickets from the machines and even validating them in another machine.
