So, we had our 2-hour sight-seeing shuttle bus trip to our hotel and after booking into the hotel, decided to brave the Tokyo subway and try to get our train seats booked. The latter task was quite difficult and time consuming - the ticket man's English was much worse that my Japanese. However, we got our seats and headed back to the hotel, with only one mistaken extra trip going the wrong way. We were hot and tired when we got home and only had a short time to get ready to out on our night excursion. We decided that we deserved a taxi to our meeting place although we could have walked to another train station/line. The meeting place was the lobby of the Grand Hyatt (slightly higher standard than our hotel!) We soon found that we were the only people in the "night tour" which first took us up the the viewing area of Roppongi Hills.
We were taken put to the viewing floor - 51st. There was a Pokoman display up there so our tour guide insisted on taking our photos. Then we were taken to a traditional Japanese Restaurant, where the food was great but the chef wanted us to eat too much. I had to use my best Japanese phrase that Toshiko taught me to stop him from force feeding us. もうじゅうぶんいただきました。(Mojubun itadakimashita).
