Narrow Boat up the Canal South Wales

 Here we are on "The Red Swallow". Our boat is very long and Allan is being challenged to get round the frequent bends, especially when we pass a boat going the opposite direction as well as catch up with a slower boat.

We had dinner at a very good Indian restaurant at Llanfoist. We had to walk down  some steps and steep slope from the canal. We stayed moored up for the night here too.

In the morning Allan started up while I was still in the shower and I wondered why we were rocking. We stopped at Govilon to top our water tank up and we have now stopped at Gilwern and are sitting in a pub waiting for our fish and chips.
