We travelled to Nakatsue yesterday. From Hiroshima by Shinkansen (Bullet train), then by a little red local train to Hita, where Toshiko met us and drove us another 40 minutes up into the mountains. The first and second photos show Robyn and Toshiko in Kiyoshi's tree house.
The third photo is Toshiko and Kiyoshi's house. The fourth photo was taken at the local community centre where the ladies were selecting seeds to grow in their fields. The seeds were brought up from Hita.
Once again, the local ladies welcomed us warmly.
