Most of the people who have been here since I came on Monday left today. However Emma and Sue stayed till lunch time to be with me. We went shopping ( I didn’t buy much because there’s no room in my bag.). However there were lots of things to look at. Next, a coffee in "Granny’s Kitchen". Then came the sad goodbye.
I had a restful afternoon, walking, studying and reading Welsh. A new lot of people arrived in time for dinner. They are nearly all quite old, walking sticks and all. Yes, I know I’m old, but I could keep with the young ones, except in drinking and staying up late.
After dinner, we went to the Vale pub, where a Welsh language quiz was happening. My team of three did quite well in spite of my not knowing answers, but we didn’t win. Sorry, no photos tonight.
