Garth Newyd 15th Amgueddfa/ Museum

O diar! Treasure Hunt in the Rain.
We got very wet looking for clues in Lampeter. We had a sheet of clues to find in the town. It was really a way to eplore the town speaking Welsh of course. After lunch we had another quiz in the lounge room and then went to the Lampeter Museum, which is in the university. By the way, Lampeter in Welsh is "Lanbedr Pont Steffan". The museum is very small but very interesting. A volunteer answered all of our questions.

Dresssed up for church - they are all looking very serious.

After dinner, we visited a very old village in the nearby hills. Llandewi-Brefi dates back to the 7th century. The most notable building was the church, possible showing the narrow arrow windows, and surrounded by very old graves.

Don't know why I didn't write down what this is! But, I know it was very old and interesting.

Then we had a drink and chat at the Riverbank Cafe, near Tregaron and when back home, finished the evening with a few tunes on my recorders.

Two of my Zoom friends are in this photo, Jenny is on the left and Bill
