Bore ma, wnaethon ni i Aberdaeron ar y bws. Cwrddon ni â grŵp o siaradwyr Cymraeg mewn tafarn. Wnaethon ni sgwrsio ac oeddwn i'n gallu siarad â phobl. Dyn o'r enw Gary oedd un. Oedd o’n athro i blant bach cyn i ymddeol. Cymraeg yn i Nia!
We met a group of Welsh speakers yn a pub. We chatted and I was able to speak to some people. One was a man called Gary. He is a retired teacher of little children.
Then we had lunch in a restaurant, walked along the seaside and went to a bookshop, and of course, I bought two little Welsh books
We returned home by bus. Later this afternoon, we gathered in the lounge to play a question game. Marcus had prepared many cards of Welsh questions and we had to take turns to ask somebody else a question It was a bit tricky for me but I managed.
This evening, after dinner, we walked to the Rugby Club where the local Men’s Choir was rehearsing. I was in Welsh singing heaven. The conductor was so in control, and so expressive. These so-called ordinary community members made such a beautiful tone. I’m incredibly grateful for this experience.
