Garth Newydd 13th July Permaculture and Dilys

This morning, we were invited by the mayor to see the local Food Bank and the "climate food gardens". Kim Stoddart, "author an green rocketeer" , who has designed the gardens and advises the Gardening Group, gave us a talk and explained the gardens.

This afternoon, we spent another afternoon at Dilys' home and garden. Each time there is a different theme and activity. Today we had to chose a container from the collection she had on display. I chose a round basket. We then had to say what we thought the container was designed for and what we would use it for. Later the six of us had to go upstairs and select a movie, which she used to stimulate a discussion.

This evening we were free, and my friends (Anne, Jenny F) and I sat in the kitchen and chatted.
