Marugame Castle

We drove to this castle, although we still had a lot of walking and climbing to reach the castle. This castle is one of only 12 remaining wooden castles in Japan. It is a small castle  completely surrounded by spectacular dry stone walls, and from the castle windows, a 360 degree view of the city can be seen.
