Doryuji Temple- a bonus.

Kiyoshi suggested we visit one last Temple this morning- Temple 77.
I’m so glad we did. This one is a complex of several beautiful wooden buildings with the typical garden. As I threw my last coins in the box at the altar (?), I contemplated.
I see these ritualistic gestures as representing personal meanings. The pilgrims and the ones they are following, seek truth, as most of us do. I am grateful for my experiences here and also for the fact that it is the seeking that is important and as I drop my coins, I vow to calmly continue my search for meaning and enjoy the gifts I have in my life.

P.S.
Next time I come here, I will wear this outfit, as did the original pilgrim, Kobo Daishi.
