First up today, was a walk to the local markets, where there was a stall for swapping seeds. I strolled around and saw lots of interesting things such as vintage blankets and clothes made with leaves and flowers imprinted in the material - how? I asked but I didn't really follow what she was saying.
Next up, a drive to pretty Aberaeron, on the west coast, south of Aberystwyth.

| Then off we went to a house up on the hill. |
This was and interesting experience, obviously all about both language and gardening. An elderly lady, who obviously had been a teacher, lives here and her flower and vegetable gardens were naturally delightful. Dilys asked us questions and gave us directions, yn y Cymraeg, wrth gwrs. We all had to select a garden object out of a pile of stuff - e.g. garden tools, two types of gardening stools, four types of rakes. We each had to answer questions about our chosen object.

| Mine was a footstool, with a cushion on it. Then we had to demonstrate its use. I am kneeling precariously in the sloping garden, hoping I don't lose my balance. |
The final garden of the day was another National Trust Garden - a 'Hidden Garden".

This was another magic garden, but at the end I was absolutely exhausted - all that conversation and all that walking. They are going to a pub tonight - to take part in a quizz, but i am thinking of dipping out.
