After our scenic bus trip via many tiny villages and Bangor, we arrived at the Gladstone Hotel - really good, old hotel, with seaviews and excellent restaurant.
The next morning, we were picked up by Vivienne. When still in Australia, I put a question about Carci Farm online on my Welsh Learning platform, Vivienne replied that she knew where it was. So, what is Carci Farm? My neighbour and friend at Sugarwood, Vivien, told me that her grandfather and great grandfather lived at this farm, so I thought it would be good fun to find it.
So, Vivienne took us straight to the farm. Viv and I gingerly approached the farmhouse, watching and waiting for dogs to rush out. We could hear talking and dogs barking. Slowly, we got closer and closer and saw that the two dogs were small, and wagging their tails. And then a man came out - very friendly and interested. His two sons were there too and they told us we were lucky we caught them because they were about to shear their 60 sheep. We were invited inside too, mainly to see an carved original beam. I was so thrilled to see this farm.

So pleased to hear you found the farm and got invited in.
