Michihiko and Chieko Visit

This afternoon we had a visit from Toshiko's brother Michihiko and his wife Chieko. I first met them in 2000 and since then they have come to see me every time I come to Japan. They are both delightful. They are both in their eighties now. Michihiko kept us entertained with his mouse trick and string trick.

Then Chieko and Kiyoshi joined him in singing a little traditional Noh excerpt from Kuramatengu.
When they left, Michihiko hugged and hugged me and we both wept. Toshiko said we were "mushy" and of course we will see each other again.
