Goodbye Singapore.

David had to go to work today so I snapped him before he left. He promised to bring the family to Upper Gundowring next year
Jenny, Hannah and I leisurely went to Changi Airport around 11, so I could do an early check in and get rid of my bags. As many Singaporeans do, we spent a few hours here, eating of course.
The above dish was gifted to us at the Chinese Dumpling shop. The writing says Happy Mummy's Day.
Then Salbia arrived, so we ate again! Salbia bought me a dish that was full of vegetables, fish and tofu. She said she had read my blog and knew what I needed to eat.

After that Salbia and her sister drove me to Changi Beach because she knows I like space and fresh air - she remembered how I had enjoyed this beach before. She put out the picnic rug and opened a container of fruit that "would be healthy for me".
It was hard to say goodbye again. I have felt very emotional with all these loving farewells - hugs that don't want to stop. Salbia is also promising to visit us.
So that's it. Here I am in the airport lounge, with oodles of time to do a blog and prepare for the night flight and the change of temperature.

  1. Hi Wyverne!
Al and I have been enjoying your blogs tonight. Such great trips. We are all very jealous.

I also wanted to show off my tremendous Chinese skills by pointing out that I think those cakes actually say "I love Mama". No need to check with your friends. I am right. 100%. It's great.

    See you soon :)
