We travelled by car to Ipswich, Queensland, to be part of Dave and Bek's wedding on March 25. The weather was beautiful, after one lot of rain and before the next deluge. It was held at the Ipswich Croquet Club. It was a great venue, as the many children had lots of green grass to play on.Here's Dave arriving with some of the children's entertainment (balls, skittles, etc and even puzzles and colouring in activities which were on a rug during the reception and speeches).

We were so lucky to have so many of both families there to celebrate. Lots of friends too - some even did the professional photography, the music and the cooking.
The wedding ceremony was quite informal, with one special touch - a recognition of Bek's Jewish heredity. Both sets of parents held a canopy, the "chuppah", representing the open doored (welcoming) house in which the couple will live.
