Woohoo! Queensland

Today, Dave and I crossed the Qld border. It felt like going from Mexico to the US. Two policemen questioned us and checked our licenses. I was asked when I was last in Melbourne. Luckily I could say “last year”. We crossed on one of the inland roads. Some inland crossings were closed and we heard that there were long queues on the coast highway. From tomorrow at noon, any Victorians trying to get into Qld will be quarantined for 2 weeks at their own $200 per night expense. I feel very lucky to have got in for my holiday just in the nick of time. Here we are with our border passes in place.
