Today, we went out for lunch at the "Living Food Cafe". The menu was mainly raw food. My lunch was very tasty. I had a "Living Platter" which consisted of a mushroom pattie, spiral zuccini in a nice sauce (resembled spaghetti) and a small flaxseed "pizza" ( flax seed base, topped with cashew and dill cream, with a slice of tomato on top. That was followed by "tiramisu" (raw cacao, sunflower seeds and nuts). It was all very different, but quite delicious. And, I felt good!
When we came home, we had a practice run for Lucy's piano concert tomorrow. A few of Lucy's friends and their Mums came. Noah and Kai are a Japanese/British mix (their mum, Kiyomi, is a percussionist), but they were camera-shy. The little girl in the photo with Lucy is Noella, whose Mum is a Chinese Canadian violinist and Dad is a cellist from Spain.
Tonight, Alison has gone to play in the Saturday night concert, Molly has gone to bed and Lucy is watching a movie of Rapunzel. Can you see Lucy's long yellow hair - attached to her little pony tail?
