It is well set up with a very good gym and swimming pool. I doubt Keith will be in the pool. His bathers were bought about 1950 and he complains that the elastic is no good.
His room is much smaller than the last one, but the physio has set him up with an air mattress and a good air sitting cushion for his chair. There’s tea making facilities but no patients’ kitchen, so I can’t heat up any home cooked “real” food.
Keith is not sleeping well here and not feeling too good. I think the move and unfamiliar surroundings and staff are all a bit much for him. And, they bring him dinner at 5:30pm, which, he reminded me, is really 4:30pm.
Oh dear, I might spoil him by going in again tomorrow - not that I want to - way too hot all week. Ranging between 35 and 42 degrees.
No fires near us yet. 🙏
Good Morning Wyverne
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear that Keith isn't sleeping so well and isn't feeling so good. Hopefully things will start to seem a bit better once he settles down and become more accustomed to the new hospital.
Such a relief that the fires are not near you. Try and stay cool.
Lots of love from us both, Irene xx
