Toowoomba continued.

Yesterday, I spent most of the day with Lorraine and Kendal Franks, friends from my uni days here. Again, special time with special people. Found my way back to Jan and Tom’s place and had a lovely evening. 

This morning I walked to Joe and Sue Scanlan’s ( Marriage Encounter friends from Brisbane and Toowoomba days). I love walking around this leafy town, north of Toowoomba.

Sue and Joe are as lovely as ever and it was so good to talk with them on their back deck overlooking the escarpment. 

This afternoon I was in “Recorder Heaven” with my old recorder group. What joy to play beautiful music with likeminded people who play recorder so well. 

And the day ended with dinner at the Meringandan Pub we used to live at Meringandan but we didn’t go there and didn’t know what a great venue it is.
