Bellingen

 A much easier drive today, after a comfortable night at Casino. It was an old motel, one that had been flooded a year ago, but the host went out of his way to provide all we needed. He said “I’m here to help you” and that included coming to our room at 8:30pm to fix the aircon, well, press the on button actually ( harder than we expected), and providing a beer bottle opener, which I had forgotten.  

We stopped at Grafton for lunch. After a long search we found something suitable and ordered fish we waited for ages. I even had to o inquire what was going on  and the cook apologised profusely, but they were short staffed.

the fish finally came, I have to say that I have never tasted barramundi so delicious. Before we left, I went in and complimented the cook.

We are not at our Stayz farm cottage just outside Bellingen. The house is one hundred years old, beautifully restored, and this is the view
