We had intended showing Jim and Irene the many interesting places in this Castlemaine area but we felt so much at peace in this environment that we were content to walk in the garden and surrounding bushland, chat, eat and drink.
I am not being paid a commission to write this, but it was the best B & B we had ever stayed in. It was comfortable, artistically furnished, well supplied with all one could possibly need to cook, eat and drink. The included breakfast was more than generous and of good quality. The surrounding gardens were like a park.The hosts, Trudy and Robert were friendly and welcoming and Trudy also gave us many hints on organic gardening. I should also say that they were not intrusive - just there when we need them - perfect.
It was great to be with Jim and Irene - old friends are so precious. We missed Jan and Grant - we must be "six" for the next reunion.
