Lucy's 6th Birthday

 Yesterday was Lucy's 6th birthday. She woke up at 5.30am to find these presents waiting for her.

 First the girls arranged them in order of size. (What have we done to make this a necessary step?)



Then a scavenger hunt to find the present Al and Scott had made, a teepee cubby house.

  Even Scott can get in!

 

 

 Then, we all went to a park for a picnic lunch. L-R: Megan and Alice, Alison, Scott and Molly, Lucy, Leah and Tahlia and Una behind Tahlia.



One of Lucy's presents was "Slackline", sort of tight-rope walking. Scott rigged it up between two trees and demonstrated before almost everybody else tried it out.. There were also lots of lovely things for the children to play on.

 

 Oh dear, poor old Molly is worn out.

 

 

 

 

 Later in the day, we went back to Al's for our birthday dinner and cake - Pepper Pig, for those who don't know.



                                                       
Tahlia is helping Leah.

Here are the cousins with Grandma. The little girls have had a bath and are ready to go to bed. The biggest cousin, Tahlia is ready to catch the train back to uni. Grandma is also ready for bed.
