Mikaela, Ellie and I had our first experience at a poultry auction on Sunday, and I must say we did a great job. Here are our 6 bantams, all Pekins, I believe. They seem pretty happy in their new house and they love to eat Keith's bread scraps. King Henry, the rooster, has been waking us up very early with earnest crowing. He is pretty handsome and I think he is pleased with his little ladies.
Now they have to get busy and lay some eggs and then hopefully produce some more Pekin bantams.
