Aussi Christmas at Upper Gundowring on 25th December.

A few of weeks ago Alison helped me to erect a different type of Christmas tree. We went into to our neighbour's paddock (はたけ)and selected the right shaped dead chestnut tree branch off their rubbish heap. We dragged it home for Lucy and Ellie to decorate. We thought it was very artistic but Keith did not agree.

Leo and Harry were thrilled with these books that were under our tree.

Sammy didn't really understand why all sorts of things were put in front of him, but he got lots of things he will appreciate later.

Finally, a photo of the beginnings of our Christmas lunch table. I really needed Alison's creativity, but creative Al has gone to Cairns for Christmas and creative David is in Brisbane. Not to worry, we had our lunch and a bottle of Casal Garcia (or two) and it was wonderful to have Karl, Ruth, Leo, Harry and Sam with us to help make our Christmas memorable.
